Who Has Seen The Wind

Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I.
You see now, it's invisible
to the naked eye.

Who has seen the wind?
It hides but shows it's there.
Seek guidance from the sky-
and watch the clouds pass by.

Take a look up at the tree tops
and see the leaves, they flow.
Look down at the grass blades,
and watch them as they go.

Who has seen the wind?
What of it, lies within?
Who can show that it is there?
Just look around, it proves it's here.

Beach

I was sitting on the sand
Watching the clouds pass by
When I saw in the sky a lion and a Bear
I said oh my!
I look on my left
I see a white dove fly so high
I started to cry
I said to myself i must be crazy
There is no bear or lion in the sky
Maybe a dove and some water below
And other things that we don't know

Nature

Look at the nature
It looks like a picture

Green plants blue sky
And the shinning sun high

The birds are singing
The flowers are blooming

The wind is blowing
And the leaves are falling

The colorful insects are buzzing around
Oh! I can’t count them at all

The beautiful nature
The colorful creatures

Happy Birthday

Dance among the ribbons
of the birthday balloons.
Smile through the lit candles
and sing to the classic happy tune.
Eat the cake of wishes,
frosted with sweet dreams of parties to come.
Blindly swing at the flying unicorn,
sending treasures across the lawn.

Spin among the music and laughter
in your perfect party dress that's brand new.
And till next year my darling,
happy birthday to you.

Stab My Back

You say you're my friend
But you stab my back
You tell me you're "depressed"
And then you go and cry on my shoulder
When I need your help you turn away
You stab my back
The blood drips down, into a puddle
You spit in my blood and walk away
I sit there bleeding
Until no more blood
And I sit and suffer
Finally you kill me

You Were Everything That I Had

Once upon a time,
I thought you were my friend.
That you would always be there,
Until the very end.

But somehow it seems that all I was,
Was there to fill the gap.
Until you found another friend,
That put up with your crap.

I don’t think that you quite understand,
How much I needed you.
And how so very betrayed I feel,
Surely you can see that’s true.

I’m not quite sure just what I’ve done wrong,
But something I haven’t done right.
Since quite recently you’ve just cut me out,
And lifted me out of your sight.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again,
You were everything that I had.
But now I have nothing, I’m left here alone.
All confused and bitter and sad.

True Colors

The blood was shed
It will never be the same
Feel the intruding lead
That hangs my head in pain

The drainage not on my hands
But flows down my back
It was only in the sands
Where you planned your attack

Executed without flaws
With no issue at hand
You dug deep with your claws
Into a faceless land

Your face full of lies
When you greet me at that place
I see through your disguise
And reject your embrace

The wound you try to heal
Is now a gaping maw
Your words can never conceal
The true colors I saw

Invisible

Sometimes I wish
I was invisible
So then nobody
Could ever find me
But in the End
Being invisible
Isn't really worth it
Because when you're invisible
Those who matter most
Can't see you

Why?

We are sorry for all that has happened
It hurt us too.
And together we will mend
Your heart all the way through

We will help you realize
that you are not alone
all that you needs is strength, the real prize
And let the true you be shown

You have not yet noticed how strong you really are
You could make it too
With help from us you could go far
We can help you make the ultimate break through

We can help you escape the river of sorrow
your hearts been stained with dirt
We want to help your blood stream flow
We understand your hearts been hurt

Today I'm Afraid

Today I felt lost
I couldn't find Your hand.
I felt so Alone,
I just don't Understand.

Today I am afraid
For Tomorrow's troubles may bring
More Pain than Today
I may not last; I'll continue to Pray.

Why do I worry about Tomorrow?
Today brings enough fear;
For Today was the Tomorrow,
That seemed all to near.

Today I am afraid
For Tomorrow's troubles may bring
More Pain than Today
I may not last; I'll continue to Pray.

I'll never forget about the Past,
My Pain will never let me.
Tomorrow is how long it will last.
By then I may be Free.

Creativity

I have no name
Until you name me.
I have no form
Until you shape me.
I don't exist
Until you make me,
I am creativity.

I am waiting deep inside you
Touch my spark
And let me light you,
Give me life
And I'll revive you
I am creativity.

One by one
take one step at a time
said her daddy, teaching her to walk
the little girl only one year old
she looked up and smiled
and let go of his hand.

Now seventeen years old
out driving in the snow
driving to fast, hitting a pole
after getting the news
her dad rushes to her
hearing the terrible
news, she may never walk again.

One by one, my dear
take one step at a time
said her daddy teaching
her to walk again.

She looked up with a smile
as she did sixteen years ago and
let go of his hand, for the last time.

Fame In Waiting

There is a place
up there for you to stay
a place of fame and honor
even the world cannot the deny

It's gleam is blinding
it's existence sure
a little way beyond the horizon
the peak Praise

Though it might seem rough
the road you're bound to tread
you'll go through pain and strife
Determination must speak

Till twilight becomes feeble
and the glory of its dawn
Fills your heart with the renown
that has so long endured

Then, it would be, then my friend
you'll above all else stay
your head you'll raise up high
Like the Victor you've always been!

Olympic Games

Only for those of a special breed,
Living a dream, a chance to succeed.

Yesterday's hopes and desires coming true,
Making your mark with records anew.

Proving hard work and the daily grind,
Instructing the body, conditioning the mind.

Can capture a medal for the whole world to see, with
Glamour and Pride for your country.

As you stand aloft and you flag is flown high, there's
Memories forever, and a tear in your eye.

Enjoying the moment, the admiring looks,
Securing you name in the history books.

Game Of Life

Roll the dice
Play a new game
Life for you
Will never be the same

No looking back
No aspect of time
You now have
A new mountain to climb

Your body seems to stop
Whilst the world keeps going
With no time to think
Time still keeps flowing

Going back to the dice
And he game, you will roll
It's time to start a new life
Complete with heart and soul.

Our World Today

The world is losing it's trees today,
Do you think that's OK?
Fights, Arguments and civil wars.
Pollution caused by our own cars.

A hundred trees are cut in one day,
Just to make paper which is wasted away,
Although it's a government job
We couldn't bear to hear a child's sob.

We could donate money to the needy,
Plant seed so the world would be less weedy.
Stand up for them and not just sit
It shows that even we can do our bit.

So my message to everyone,
Be as helpful as the sun.
Show people that you too,
Can help people who need you!

Use To Be

We use to be so happy
We use to be inseparable
we use to be the best of friends
until the day It came to an end.

I sit and wonder
from day to day
what you would look like
If you were here today.

I sit here and look back
at the times we shared
you were so young
you didn't have a care.

You knew that you were dying
but didn't say a word
I wish that I could of been with you
when you said your final goodbye.

It broke my heart to lose you
my heart still aches with pain
for you didn't go alone that day
for part of me went with you
when God called you home that day.

Fly

Another morning comes again;
You rise as soon as the dawn breaks.
You force yourself to carry on,
However much your mind aches.

You drag your way through your day;
Everything's a blur.
And though I've stolen your dreams of flight,
There's still that slight allure.

The thought of freedom,
The tangles of love and pain,
The things you remember to breathe for,
The reasons you remain.

Apologies lay unnoticed,
Disregarded in frenetic haste.
Hidden wings remain concealed,
But an angel forsaking their dreams
For a reason like this one's a waste.

I have one thing to ask of you;
Just please, can you answer me why?
How can you keep your feet on the ground,
When you know you were meant to fly?

When You Were Here

When you were here, you made me smile
When you were here, I could run a mile

When you were here, I didn't have to cry
When you were here, bad things went flying by

When you were here, I never felt alone
When you were here, I was as sweet as an ice cream cone

When you were here, I felt no fear
That is...when you were here

Time To Face Facts

You left loving friends
Out in the cold
All because addiction
Had taken hold

Friends that still care
You left behind
Still they tried to help
But you declined

Saying you were fine
While living a lie
Mets leads to death
Get help or die

Friends through it all
We remain true
Taking the next step
Depends on you

Its time to face facts
Get back on track
So we can celebrate
Having you back

Driven

Our lifestyles are merely a reflection,
a mirror to our soul
Filled with many mountains
that shadow some of life's holes

There are many paths to chose from,
yet direction hard to find.
We all have reached at least one crossroad,
troubled to make up our mind

As we set out on life's journey,
lets not lose focus on our goals
Cuz the most important part of our journey,
is to never lose sight of the road.

Think Of People Who Care

Think of all the money wasted
Just so you can get high
Think of the people who care
They keep on asking why

Had you ever stopped to think
Where has the time gone
While life was passing you by
You closed out everyone

Addiction screws your psyche
Messes with your brain
As you cast loved ones aside
The dark side you remain

It should give you time to think
Whilst inside jail you sit
Remember friends and family
All hope and pray you quit

Since The Loss Of You

Since the loss of you
I've learned to live for each day
And take it as a blessing
Knowing it may not always be this way.

Since the loss of you
I've learned that when everything goes wrong
To never give up on what is right
Because it can only make you strong.

Since the loss of you
I've learned that even when you're in a lot of pain
You've got to hold yourself together
So you won't feel like you're going insane.

Since the loss of you
I've learned how to hold the tears when I want to cry
Because all I have is memories
And just want to ask God why.

But mostly, since the loss of you
I've learned a life can be taken in the blink of an eye
And only Heaven really knows when
That person will have to say "Goodbye."
