Paradise Of Nature

A trickling stream flowing through the trees,

Twisting and curving around the rocks,

The rustling of leaves blowing through the air,

The birds chirp from above,

Singing the song of a new day.

I live in the paradise of nature,

Trees willowing in the breeze around me,

My hair blown back by the gentle wind,

The sun peeking through the canopy of the trees,

Their tall majestic selves swaying in the breeze,

But, this is only a dream,

And every dream has to end.

A Night View

I see the moon between the trees

I see the night moving toward the horizon

As the wind whisper in my ear

spring is coming,

The Window Sill

The tortoise shell kitten,

Sits on the sill.

She turns to the window,

Goes rigid and still.

For the first thing she sees,

Are flakes of white bread,

Falling from the sky over head.

But it couldn't be bread,

For it's so sparkly white.

And she thinks in her mind,

What a beautiful sight!

She creeps through the cat flap,

And looks into the sky,

Until a tiny white flake flies to her nose.

It's dandruff!

She thinks and looks at the flake,

Or maybe its dough,

Ready to bake.

Or tiny white cauliflowers falling to earth.

So cold! She thinks and runs back,

In doors, curls up by the hearth.

How Can I Forget?

That very first day that we met

Its a feeling I'll never forget.

All the experiences that we've shared,

I knew right away that you were rare.

You see, it's hard to find a someone like you,

Usually they're too good to be true.

Though I should've entered with more ration,

It feels as though my love's been abandoned.
