Love Forever Lost

Like A ghost I flitter through the night,

keeping to the shadows and abhorring the light.

The night camouflages and no one can see

the shadow of the person that once was me.

The days lays me bare with no where to hide,

this raw pain that I feel inside,

You are no longer of this world,

you inhabit a place of no return,

no matter the tears or how much I yearn.

Broken Friendship

Friends, We'll always be there for one another

A thousand memories we share and a million

more to come, Never thought in a million years

we'd ever be friends, but we were, we were

the best of friends. You were always there to

stay and listen to what I had to say. I looked up

to you in so many ways, Now we went our

separate ways we didn't say good-bye so

despite my tight grip our friendship left my

grasp, Now my best friend is someone in the

past. The distance that caused the change of

heart as our friendship grows further apart

maybe one day we can go back, back to the

day slowly we'll build that bridge to one

another like it but until then don't forget,

we were the best of friends.

Truth

Once in your life you make the friends that are true

Nothing else matters except what's between them and you

You don't know if anyone has ever before felt this way

For them you breathed, you wanted to be alive everyday

You'd put up with anything if it meant you got to see each of their faces

Here you are writing your life story and they are the basis

You know what's right and no one else can see

They're your world, everything you want your life to be

Not even sure if they feel the same way for you

Your stuck with this feeling what can you do?

Things are changing you don't feel the love anymore

You need to figure things out and get to the core

You're missing the feeling you used to love to feel

A New Beginning

Something happened to me when our relationship died,

Something happened to me right when we said goodbye.

I felt so different, I had no heart.

We had broken up before but I felt this was the end,

The end of ever being loved by him again.

What was I to do?

Without him I am so lost,

I feel that he should be paying the cost.

But he isn’t, I am.

I am afraid to love another,

But afraid I should not be,

For I will find another perfect for me.

This Is Our End

You can stand there and smile you can sit there and laugh

but you can't trick me I know it's a mask

You’re trying to lie to me and everyone else

but why is it that you’re lying to yourself?

You can calmly sit there and try to look cool

but I know your emotions and I know you’re a fool

I know inside you your feelings rage

The suspense builds with the turn of a page

By day you’re one person by night another

and neither of them have anything to do with each other

I've watched you sink farther from your heart

and all of this just tears me apart

I sit here and cry, for you not for me

What you've become I wish you could see

No words could I use to help me explain

what it does to me to see you in pain
