Earthbound Angel who came into my life
flown on heavy wings, his shadow graced my door
watching silently, I saw his light
realizing then I wanted to know more.
Slow and steady, we came together
no time exists when we're with each other
conversations flow far into the night
don't know what it is, but it just feels right.
Discoveries and lessons all part of the plan
doubts we had washed away like sand
a sense of safety backed up by trust
all is possible when it's just us.
Thought I was dreaming, a friend like you
touching our souls, I know you feel it too
wishing and praying that it never goes away
in my life always, I hope you will stay.
