Involuntary Acceptance

Even though

We’re far apart

You’ll always be

In our heart

He loved you then

We love you now

Kept from your life

We don’t know how

Perhaps one day

A chance we’ll be given

Until that time

You’ll be missed where we’re liven

We’ll hope for the best

But expect the worst

That you’ll change your mind

For this we’ll thirst
